Seasonal Employment Opportunity

Through Oregon State Fire Marshal funding, Westport Fire & Rescue is seeking applicants to fill one or more seasonal positions. The duties of the positions include, but are not limited to, responding to fire and emergency medical incidents, driving fire apparatus, hydrant and draft site clean up, station maintenance, and other duties as assigned by the fire chief. This is an hourly position with a schedule of up to five six-hour shifts per week. The wage is $22.00 per hour. The employee shall have completed the minimum training requirements for NWCG Firefighter Type 2. Desired qualifications are NFPA Firefighter I and Oregon Emergency Medical Responder license or above.
